"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of Canadian voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened."

Teal Bunbury, former youth team international for Canada, subs in for the USMNT in yesterday's 1-0 win against South Africa in Cape Town.

Yeah, sure, loads of Canadians are upset that Teal didn't follow in the footsteps of his father, Alex Bunbury, but you gave us Celine Dion, Keanu Reeves, Justin Bieber, and Howie Mandel. I think the least you owe us is (at least) one international-caliber soccer forward.

Welcome to the United State of America, Teal Bunbury*!

* Yes, we're aware that he plays in the U.S. for Sporting Kansas City (formerly "the Wiz").
