Sporting KC striker Teal Bunbury has struggled to find playing time and the net of late, but he made it count last week when he scored a dramatic late-game equalizer against New England. His 89th minute tally ensured a share of the points and kept Kansas City's 13-game unbeaten run intact.
Bunbury, always the ham, celebrated by running to the corner flag and playing "bobblehead" for the fans.
That inspired Sporting KC to put together this video with "Boon Boo Ree" breaking down his goal with bobbledheads laying around the team's office.
Sporting should used these over and over for various game re-caps. Props are awesome. We can't tell you how many times we've explained the offside rule using salt and pepper shakers, ketchup and mustard bottles, and the like.
Watch:
Only thing Sporting should be ashamed of is that Bunbury used a Chicago Cubs Ryne Sandberg bobble in the formation because if there's one thing KC doesn't like it's anything from the Windy City. The owner of that probably got fired after this.

Sporting KC striker Teal Bunbury toured the nearly complete LIVESTRONG Sporting Park with MLSSoccer.com.
The stadium will open on June 9th when Sporting hosts rivals, Chicago Fire, and then Kansas City will open its doors to the U.S. National Team for the first time in ten years for their Gold Cup first-round match against Guadeloupe.
The Free Beer Movement will be at both!
Check out the video of Major League Soccer's newest SSS. Read our interview with LIVESTRONG CEO Doug Ulman about the story behind how KC's park became the first philanthropic stadium in the world.

Welcome to a new feature on the Free Beer Movement called "DrinkWear". We started this series because promoting soccer in American is a full-time job (just not for us yet) and you need the wardrobe to do so. The "jersey" look isn't going to work every time. DrinkWear promises (fingers crossed behind our backs) to be a great resource to outfit your soccer style on and off the field.
You're probably wondering what took so long, but both quality and genius take time.
Wait no longer! Sporting KC and their supporters group, The Cauldron, have released their "Boon Boo Ree" shirt.
If you're a fan of creative espanol commentary in T-shirt form then you should definitely pick up one of these Teal Bunbury shirts. For just 20 bones you, too, can own a piece of American soccer pop culture that will last long past (hopefully) the careers of the Black Eyed Peas and the song that inspired:
You've got two pretty rad (yes, we used "rad") designs to pick from. We're partial to the light blue one, but mostly because it really makes our eyes sparkle.
You can place your order through next Wednesday, February 9th. Do it. Now.
Editor's Note: We've taken notice that we've run several Sporting KC articles on the site lately. We're nearly done spending the briefcase of money they gave us to make them look good so we'll be back to repping all the other teams soon, too.

Behind Sporting KC foward Teal Bunbury's first international goal the United States Men's National Team drew with Chile on Saturday night in Carson, CA.
For full, quality analysis of the match head over to our friends at "The Shin Guardian". We're not tactics-people... more of the "America! Fuck Yeah!"-types.
In the meantime check out video from the evening's action, including the hilarious goal call from Telefutura's coverage.

"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of Canadian voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened."

Teal Bunbury, former youth team international for Canada, subs in for the USMNT in yesterday's 1-0 win against South Africa in Cape Town.
Yeah, sure, loads of Canadians are upset that Teal didn't follow in the footsteps of his father, Alex Bunbury, but you gave us Celine Dion, Keanu Reeves, Justin Bieber, and Howie Mandel. I think the least you owe us is (at least) one international-caliber soccer forward.
Welcome to the United State of America, Teal Bunbury*!
* Yes, we're aware that he plays in the U.S. for Sporting Kansas City (formerly "the Wiz").
