So to recap. AMERICAN Landon Donovan starts for Everton and AMERICAN Tim Howard scores a goal. In the English Premier League.

Not too shabby.

Fun fact: Howard becomes only the fourth keeper to score a goal in the EPL and the first from open-play. One of the other four scorin' keepers? AMERICAN Brad Friedel.
